Security Policy and Compliance (WA-SPC)

Existing and proposed lines of business need to operate in a manner that maintains the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the underpinning business systems to protect them from compromise.  Ensuring systems are designed within the state’s approved security architecture and policies enables agile deployment of new services by agencies. The business operations team ensures a level of due diligence through the review and audit of these business systems for proper architecture and state and federal compliance requirements.  Compliance with federal requirements can directly impact the state’s receipt of federal funds.
