Be careful with password recovery questions!

One of the ways hackers compromise their victim’s accounts, especially email or banking, is to use the victim’s password recovery questions. When you create an account for email or banking, you are often asked to answer several questions about your life to be used when you can’t remember your password. The problem with questions like “What is the name of your dog?” or “What high school did you go to?” is that many people post this on their social media pages.

When selecting your password recovery questions, be aware of what you have available to the public!
