Congratulations to the winners of the 2016 Hacktober contest
The state’s first Hacktober contest is officially over and was a resounding success, with more than 5,000 state employees taking part. The State Office of CyberSecurity wants to thank everyone who took part in the contest and made time to learn more about ways to stay safe online and help protect personal information stored on the state network. We also want to thank the prize providers for partnering with the state to increase cybersecurity awareness: Alaska Airlines, Baskin Robbins, Albertsons, Miss Moffitt’s Cupcakes, Safeway, Les Schwab, and Thriftway. Please check back in the fall of 2017 for the next Hacktober event.
